The Clan Trial of Annihilation

The purpose of the Clan Trial of Annihilation is to determine which clan (and ultimately which Mechwarrior) will lead the next assault on the Inner Sphere.

For the Trial only modified OMNI mechs will be used (both FASA and MNA). OMNI mech tonnage, actuators and movement rates may not be changed. Everything else is fair game. You may use only Clan weapons or equipment.

Graduated Gunnery/Pilot skills are in effect:

Light Mechs (20-35 tons) = 1 / 2
Medium Mechs (40-55 tons) = 2 / 3
Heavy Mechs (60-75 tons) = 3 / 4
Assault Mechs (80-100 tons)= 4 / 5

The battlefield consists of 6 boards randomly chosen just before the Trial.

Clan Honour level 3 is in effect. You may engage secondary targets.

There are 4 referee mechs used to enforce Clan Honour (each has a gunnery / piloting = 2 / 3). If a warrior breaks Clan honour all 4 referee mechs will engage the filthy free-birth. The referee mechs are on the sides of the battlefield. They may be engaged one on one at any time (some warriors are that good). They are replaced if they are destroyed with no penalty to the warrior. The replacement referee mechs may be different than the previous ones. Unlike the competition mechs, the referee mechs have no construction limitations. They also have cardboard gun-port & weapons-pod covers which conceal all weapons until they are fired.

If your mech is pushed off the edge of the board, it is destroyed. This rule does not apply to the referee mechs. If they are pushed off the board, they may return the next round.

Each warrior starts the battle with their particular Clan in a group. Clan group starting positions are determined by dice roll. It is recommended that Clan groups engage other Clan groups before engaging those within their own Clan. This is not a referee enforced rule however!

Good Hunting...
